GKS Katowice finished the 2025/2026 season in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa in 5th place, marking a return to European competitions after 23 years. The club not only achieved success on the pitch but also actively engaged with the local community by organizing numerous events for fans. Throughout the season, there were eight meetings in the series 'Let's Talk About GieKSa', allowing fans to connect directly with players and club representatives. Additionally, as part of the 'GieKSa in the Gallery' initiative, fans had the opportunity to meet players at the newly opened GIEKSA FANSTORE.

An important aspect of the club's activities was the 'Play with GieKSa' initiative, which organized training sessions for children in 12 districts of Katowice. Thanks to the 'We Are Going to GieKSa' program, over 900 children were able to attend matches at the Arena Katowice, contributing to the club's popularity among the youngest fans. It is also worth noting that GKS Katowice was involved in charitable activities, supporting health campaigns and local initiatives.

The 2025/2026 season was full of emotions and successes, and GKS Katowice gained many new supporters. Through various initiatives, the club built stronger relationships with fans, which is crucial for its future. The season finale attracted nearly 3,000 fans who celebrated the team's achievements. GKS Katowice not only achieves sports success but also strives to be an active participant in the social life of Katowice.
