GKS Katowice is intensively preparing for the new season in the Ekstraklasa, strengthening its squad ahead of the upcoming competitions. The team has welcomed Bartosz Wolski from Motor Lublin and Szymon Bartlewicz from Chrobry Głogów. Coach Górak emphasizes that the team is in good shape and ready for the challenges that the new season will bring. However, the team is missing goalkeeper Rafał Strączek, who underwent shoulder surgery and will be absent for four months. Consequently, the club plans to strengthen the goalkeeper position, with Marcel Łubik being one of the candidates. Górak notes that the team is cohesive and well-prepared for the league start, which raises hopes for a successful season. GKS Katowice also has ambitious plans regarding participation in European cups, which further motivates the players. In the coming days, the team will travel for a training camp in Bielsko-Biała, followed by Opalenica, where they will have friendly matches against other teams.
