GKS Katowice has made a surprise signing of Chrobrego Głogów star Sebastian Bartlewicz. 20-year-old has signed a contract with Katowice until 2029. GKS Katowice has had a great season in Ekstraklasa, which ended with a historic promotion to European cup qualifying rounds. Katowice are now taking action on the market during the summer transfer window, as they will need to strengthen their squad for the start of the next season. GKS confirmed today that their new player is Sebastian Bartlewicz, who has previously defended the colors of Chrobrego Głogów. 20-year-old was close to promotion to Ekstraklasa with his previous club, but lost 1:2 in the final of the promotion playoffs to Wieczysta Kraków. The young player has signed a contract with GKS until the last day of June 2029. Katowice's team has brought him in on a free transfer from the free agent market. The young representative of Poland in 97 matches for Chrobrego has scored 13 goals and also 11 assists. He nominally plays as an offensive midfielder.
