GKS Katowice confirms major transfer. Bartosz Wolski, one of the best Ekstraklasa midfielders, joins the club. The transfer was confirmed on Tuesday, with Wolski signing a contract until June 2029. Rafał Górak will be able to work with the player, who scored six goals and provided seven assists in the previous season. GKS was interested in Wolski in the winter transfer window, but the 29-year-old decided to extend his contract with Motor. The two sides agreed that the player would be able to leave the club if the buyout clause of 100,000 euros is activated. The signing of Wolski is a major success for the Katowice team. He will be able to form a dangerous duo with Bartosz Nowak. Additionally, Filip Szymczak, Kamil Jakubczyk, and Axel Holewiński are also connected to the club. As for the players under Mateusz Stolarski, Wolski's departure is a significant loss. He previously left the team along with Ivan Brkić, Michał Król, and Mathieu Scalet.
