GKS Katowice cuts ties with Zondacrypto

GKS Katowice has cut ties with Zondacrypto. Journalist Szymon Jadczak from Wirtualna Polska reported that the club's management has decided to end the partnership with Zondacrypto.

What happened?

GKS Katowice has sent a letter initiating the process of terminating the sponsorship agreement. The partnership between GKS and Zondacrypto involved not only the Ekstraklasa football team but also the women's football team, men's volleyball team, and hockey team.

Why did this happen?

The partnership began in mid-July 2025. All sections of the club were supposed to wear the Zondacrypto logo on their jerseys.

What does this mean for GKS Katowice?

GKS Katowice still has a good chance of advancing to European cups. Gieksa is in seventh place in the table, with only two points behind fourth-placed Wisła Płock.
